One of the gifts the ferrets got was a set of two Gulpy water bottles with attached bowls. They do not pour out huge amounts at a time and all that you need to do is to tilt the bottle back toward the water bowl a little and the flow stops with reasonable amounts for ferrets. These will be much better than taking a standard water bottle when the ferrets go out for rides or to the vet.
