I have 6 ferrets that I need to find a good home for. There are 3 boys
and 3 girls. Their ages range from approx 2 1/2 years to 4 years old.
Their current names are Curzon, Ezri, Torias, Tobin, Leela, and Audrid.
I named them after the Dax character on Star Trek: Deep Space Nice.
They are all healthy.

The reason I need to give up these wonderful friends is that I am
currently going through chapter 13 bankruptcy and will be losing my
house. I live in Bromley Park in Brighton, Colorado. I am also
currently unemployed as well.

The ferrets are not caged. They have a nice big pen in the basement and
the cages within it are open and they can go in and out of them as they
please. I have two cages, some blankets, funnels, etc that I will give
up with them.

I would like guidance on how best to find a good home for them. I want
no money for them or the cages/accessories. I just want to know they
are in a good home. My preference would be to keep them together but I
realize that may not be possible.

I am looking to go to South Elgin, IL to stay with my sister and her
husband towards the end of November. I would be willing to bring the
ferrets and accessories to Chicago, if I can assure them a good home.
