As of yesterday Delta has RESCINDED the order to not allow ferrets to
travel in-cabin. For anyone who is now holding a ticket with Delta
traveling with ferrets, they should reference this number:
Rule #: GRS 4514/2-11 at the airport if there is any hassle which will
now state: "Delta permits small, warm-blooded, domesticated household
pets (dog/cat/rabbit/bird/hamster/guinea pig/ferret) in aircraft cabin
provided pet is at least 8 weeks old" It is also still on their website
that ferrets are acceptable in-cabin.
A big thanks to Gail and everyone else who made phone calls and/or wrote
them a letter!
