About a week ago two ferrets were put on the FML as free in CT. I
contacted the family and learned that the father-in-law had died and
they needed to go asap. I offered to get them this weekend if a good
home had not been found.

I am pleased to tell you that when I called and asked about them
yesterday, I was informed that a couple who had previously owned
ferrets and were currently ferretless would be taking them into their
home. So, we are still at four (whew!) and the two ferrets who lost
their family are going to a new home in CT where they will be only
ferrets - for now!

It's amazing how much can be accomplished if nobody cares who gets the
credit!
