The past two days I haven't touched the mail. You ever get to the
point you don't think that any good news would be there?

So, today I decide I need to find out what needs paid, and there were
a handful of envelopes addressed to the shelter, Thanksgiving cards,
cards that said, we know what you do for the ferrets, and thank you for
caring.

I have been pretty depressed lately. Too many kids in the shelter, too
many poor excuses for why they are getting turned in. and the fund
raising has fallen very flat. Some days it is so depressing. It doesn't
matter how hard you try, it just isn't good enough, or it isn't
working,

I open these cards, and they made me smile.  They gave me hope.
