Sukie and Troy-Lynne, thanks for your input. My fault, of course, that
I didn't mention any terms of reference when saying that domestication
hasn't made ferrets more susceptible to "anything". Because the
discussion was about raw feeding, I meant "susceptible to food-borne
pathogens". Domestic ferrets still have the same digestive system flora
and their digestive system remains unchanged.

I do find the subject of domestication fascinating, though.
