Nan, you are SO lucky.  My former vet in Shreveport is Karen Gordon.
There are more ferret vets in the Shreveport/Bossier area, too.  Also,
in the Dallas, TX area is Jerry Murray.  So, you are going to be in an
area of great ferret vetness!  The distance between the two is about
180 miles and the road is all interstate!
