Hi all. I wrote to HSUS and a lady wrote back for more info. which I
then sent on. I called her today, but she was gone for the weekend.

The HSUS has a lovely page on the care of ferrets, which they recognize
as a high maintenance cute pet. They also offer emergency services to
animals.

I would think that the rescue of about 1000 ferrets and not enough
people to care for them or get them food and water would qualify as a
major emergency. Please contact the email above and ask for immediate
help for an EMERGENCY. The animals were rescued from terrible
circumstances. The contract signed Apparently was to purchase food
from Doug.

PLEASE write to the email above and ask for EMERGENCY help. Or call
them at 202-452-1100. 'Then you might want to send some of the info
from the FML or info you have from another fert group.

I have not heard back from Animal Planet yet. Can people please email
there also???
