Eric, it sounds like you got lucky this time. The only thing I can think of
would be to give them some extra laxitone in the next few days. I assume you
give it to them regularly anyway. If not it's a hairball preventative for cats
that ferrets generally like. I give mine about an inch long ribbon every other
day.
