OK, Here is what was in yesterday's paper -- Thursday's paper her in
Shreveport.

The ferret and the puppy are in quarantine for checking for rabies.
They also have determined that it was the puppy, NOT the ferret. They
also charged the parents from the VERY START with neglect and desertion
of the baby.

Now, can we drop this issue about whether it was the puppy or the
ferret and that it is the parents fault? We all know it was the parents
fault and I told ya'll I would keep you updated on this story but we
continue to "it was the parents' fault" -- we know that.

Let's don't immediately run to our pc and write while still so
emotional about this. I know I wanted to do that, but since this email
group is only once a day, we need to read all posts before we post our
frustration about that it was the dog not the ferret - or - it's the
parents' frault - we know that is the main thing.

OK, I am keeping ya'll posted as fast I know something! Hugs to all
