Chris
That was ME rerouting that bounced BITNET message (ECS should only be that
flexible!). I do so much communicating via BITNET being a university
academic type that typing "bitnet" at the end of an address has become almost
a reflex that is sometimes hard to overcome (please put brain in gear before
putting fingers into motion). At any rate, thanks for the information
about distemper vaccinations. I suppose our vet is using the egg culture
variety and it makes me glad to know that he seems to know what he is doing.
However, the thought of using ferrets to diagnose canine distemper is
a rather upsetting thought. I hope that this practice has been discontinued
in favor of some more humane (and probably cheaper) immunilogical test. If
not, perhaps it is time for us ferret folks to launch a movement of our own.
