Good day all,
I've sent the following email to the folks at Purina. One small voice,
repeated over and over again will be heard. As stated before by others,
even if you don't feed it please send some kind of a request to them to
reconsider the removal of this food. Many ferrets in shelters around
the states are counting on us. We collectively can make a difference!

Dear Mr. Schoop,

I truly hope Purina will reconsider their plans to discontinue the Pro
Plan Turkey & Barley cat food. If marketing would possibly change the
label to reflect the fact that it is a fantastic food to feed our furry
friends that have severe food allergies to chicken & corn and may be to
market it toward the ferret community, sales would be in line with the
rest of the quality products produced by Purina. There are so many
ferret shelters around the US that rely on this food for the survival
of hundreds of ferrets and even to bring back many from what can be
classified as near death.

I realize Purina is a multi-million dollar company that has to watch
the bottom line on profits but wasn't their initial purpose to provide
nutritious food to pets around the world? What is to happen to those
animals that are relying on this particular food for their continued
existence? Please do not discontinue this product. So many little
lives are counting on you.

Respectfully yours,
Debbie Saunders
