Several people have expressed concern that a housekeeper at the
Sheraton was fired for falsely reporting pets in several Symposium
attendees rooms, and that this was too harsh a punishment.

According to hotel management were other issues with this staff member,
and this may have just been the final straw. The IFC staff do not know
the details, and it is really none of our business, but none of us
should feel guilty for what happened.
