We have been avoiding Iams & Eukanuba products (P&G, which I belive is
short for Proctor & Gamble) since 2002. There was a publication in the
DIRECTIONS, a newsletter for Association of Veterinarians for Animal
Rights, Summer 2001, Number 64.

The article read:
IAMS Company's Nutritional Research Under Fire The Iams Company,
manufacturer of Iams and Eukanuba cat and dog foods, has come under
fire by animal protection organizations after studies were uncovered
showing the company had been involved in dozens of horrendous
experimental food trials involving hundreds of cats and dogs.[...]
