I was pretty disheartened to read the comments from Sandy about Ferrets
Unlimited and was just wondering what Sandy thought should have been
done.

Maybe Jean should have just ignored the 12 than were just dropped on
her porch, or let the 15 strays starve to death out on their own.
Definitely she could have left the 27 with animal control so they could
have been euthanized eventually. That would have fixed all of the
problems right? WRONG! No self respecting shelter could have possibly
turned these needy ferrets away.

If more people would be active in the ferret community there would be a
rescue and shelter network that EVERYONE could get involved with...
volunteers, foster homes, people would know what shelter needs
donations and supplies...people to educate the public as to what
ferrets are really all about! Then maybe the shelters and rescues
wouldn't be so overloaded.

So instead of working over Jean for asking for help for all shelters,
(not even her own specifically), do something to benefit the ferrets,
after all, isn't that what it's all about?
