to all of you just for being here, and, yes, more thanks from both of
us (Wes Hurley and I) at the Sanctuary for all the marvelous
Thanksgiving cards which are Still pouring in! (we have a notorious
postal system which was made yet more so by the hurricanes damageing
roads and buildings over the last five years, I could post a postcard
to my next door neighbor and she wouldn't get it for four days!)

More turned-in ferrets, naturally, but so far, this is the first
Thanksgiving holiday when we have not had an especially huge "dump"
of critters of one sort or another, and so we heave a small relieved
little sigh and stay "ready" for any eventuality...the local
cat-and-dog shelters have us on their on-call lists to shelter any
domestic ferrets which they might get turned in, and there's been
several little "bunches" of ferrets rescued by the animal cops from
drug-raided houses that we've already taken in, so that's what we're
trying to stay readied for; any more raids with domestic ferrets seized
and needing a no-kill shelter's care. Petfinder has assigned us a new
url,(how nice!) here...
