Just be aware of things like giardia which can be caught from ponds and
if symptoms arise let the vet know about their pond habits. Aquaria
(including ponds) can pass on several diseases, though they are not all
that common.

They must have been so cute.

Our Telemna would LOVE that. She so loves water that if we give a large
water bowl she will snorkle, dig, and then sit in it. She has even
fallen asleep from exhaustion while sitting it. Give her a shower with
water coming down, or a filled bathtub and she is in heaven as long as
no cleaning products appear. Not a ferret norm to enjoy a wet bum, but
more power to her and her eccentricity.
