When I posted yesterday, I forgot yet another great source for shelter
money!

Are you 501(c)(3)?
Are any of your volunteers employed at Wal-Mart or Old Navy?

Both of these stores, (and probably others out there) will issue a
check, if their employee works a specified amount of hours at your
shelter. The only catch is that you must be a 501(c)(3) organization.

We just received another $250. check, last week, from the Wal-Mart
foundation. (Thanks, June!!!)

There are some papers to fill out, but it is minimal.

Just another idea.
