Thanks, Tracy, so the newspaper was wrong, or are they perhaps looking
at proposed legislation that includes ferrets in a way that they don't
think makes sense, i.e. a change in status?
If they look at the zoonotics of ferrets I hope that they realize that
pretty much all of them are also zoonotics of dogs and cats and that
dogs and cats have some additional ones.
Was it just a newspaper error and nothing involving ferrets will happen
on Tuesday? Did you ask the council? (Just being very careful because I
very well recall some below-the-radar things from long ago in various
areas. Heck, we even almost had one sneak toward a vote in NJ long ago
but thank goodness for Walt Kavanaugh who knows ferrets and brought
that junior rep to heel.)
