I went looking yesterday for a ferret photo to put on my computer
desktop... and found one from Modern Ferret. Man, I miss that magazine.
Granted, I haven't really taken the time to look at the current ferret
mags, but that one always felt like it loved the little ones as much
as I do.

I start thinking about how much has changed in the ferret community
since I first found the FML in like 1994... ferret rabies vaccinations
recognized, Modern Ferret gone, lots of shelters gone, lots more
arrived, new knowledge (like how bad raisins are for these little
guys, which has been a battle for me <g>).

Then I think about how much is the same, especially here - BIG, Sukie,
Bob C, lots of others. I mean, I found some of Ela's ferret soaps in
my storage from 8 years ago or so... hadn't used them (and won't now,
don't worry), but they still smell nice, so they're air-fresheners
now. :)

Just thought I'd share some ramblings about the ferret community at
large.
