I, too, am disgusted.

If it were me, I'd report them to the Ontario Veterinary Medical
Association - http://www.ovma.org/ - the person who had the suffering
ferret, & you. And maybe *her* vet, as well, if (s)he's so inclined
after seeing the condition of this poor little guy.

I never heard of any emergency veterinary clinic only helping their
own club members <snort>. I mean, that's basically what they're saying,
right? Sounds to me like they need to look up the term "emergency" in
the dictionary, as well as remember the phrase "first, do no harm".

I hope this woman's baby is going to be alright.
