I live in an apartment, so fortunately my job is small, however many
folks have had issues in particular with ferrets accessing the big
world through unsecured dryer-vent hosing. Another alert should be
heating vent registers; make sure they are securely screwed in.
Kitchen/bathroom plumbing; the areas where the pipes go into the walls
and floors should be as snug as possible. All cleaning products should
be kepty way out of reach. Check how your doors fit the thresholds, if
there is a gap beneath, bet your ferret will try to fit throught it,
same as with the pipes, and if the ferret has misjudged the size, it
can wedge itself in and in panic do itself serious harm!
