[spoiler]

Shakespeare is still alive and has made a few foraging trips although in
a bit weakened state. Youssarian is Zaphod's brother - he is presented
as not respected and resentful, inferior. After having a millipede
stolen from him by Zaphod then allowed to escape by a teenager (don't
remember the name), Youssairian went back to the den and brought 8 pups
above ground in an effort to move the pups... he was thwarted by Flower
and Zaphod and the pups returned to the den. Later he tries again,
succeeds after a fashion, but drops one pup, one of Mozart's pups, in the
sand. This is the first death we see... but the drama surrounding this
death was not as upsetting to me as Shakespeare's drama with his snake
bites. Wanna know what else happens?
