I thought I would share some valid views on why NOT to promote early spay
neuter in our beloved ferret companions.  I am sure many ferret owners
out there will have experienced losses mentioned in the following links!
 
The following article by a veterinarian is focused on canines re: early
spay neuter-

HOWEVER after many years of experience in ferret husbandry and shelter
rehab I can attest there are similarities!
