Lupron SubQ vs IM??

I have a question.  They say the old way to give a lupron shot was IM
but the new way says SubQ.  I know the differance between IM & SubQ but
I wonder if there is a benefit to giving it one way to the other?  I
would think SubQ would be less painful than in the back leg muscle.
