I'm also disgusted at what appeared on this page.

Whoever is responsible, I ask you:

1- Why/How did you acquire this pic in the first place?  It's an old pic.
Were you having fun at the time, thought it was a cute pic (after all,
you *did* save it), & only *recently* decided to use it as "ammo" against
Barb, for whatever personal reasons you've developed since the pic was
taken?

2- What's the significance of the timing of this pic showing up?  It's
a well-known fact that the people who dislike Barb *always* pull this
garbage out in the wks leading up to Ferretstock & Oktoberfest.  It seems
as though someone (as in a group of people, not necessarily just one
person) thinks that pulling a childish stunt like this will hurt Barb &
her wonderful fundraising events.

News flash: It hasn't hurt Barb, the shelter, or her events one single
bit.

I've been to 2 Ferretstocks & 2 Oktoberfests, & each event just gets
better & better.  Fun, food, friends, raffles, silent auctions,
silliness, great music, ferrets finding new Forever Families....& oh
yeah, did I mention friends?  I've yet to see a single person not made
to feel welcome there.  All in a beautiful piece of country, away from
the hustle & bustle of the city, w/ a roaring bonfire to boot.  It's
quite a distance for me to travel, but I try to make it to at least one
event per yr (I didn't make it to Oktoberfest this yr, but I did go to
Ferretstock).  Drinking?  Yeah, there's stuff to drink.  Personally, I
stick to Pepsi, although I'll have one beer during the evening.  I've
yet to see anyone held down against their will & forced to drink.  I've
yet to see anyone get rip-snorting out-of-control drunk.  And I've most
*certainly* never seen alcohol given to a minor.  What I *have* seen is
a huge group of friends, old & new, getting together for a good time to
raise money for a worthy cause.

So, the people doing this stuff should just give it up already.  It
doesn't work, it doesn't change how *anyone* feels, & it's 3rd grade
stuff that gets very tiresome after awhile.  Barb does wonderful work, &
the posting of old nonsense like this doesn't change that fact.  It just
shows how petty the people who posted it can be.
