This last couple months our shelter has taken in over 21 ferrets wish
brought our shelter number up to 45 ferrets plus my ferret partner and my
personal ferrets, last week one of the ferrets out of the trio cage got
very sick and died with the 2 cagemates quickly followed with symptoms
have been green diarrha with blood and stunk badly , they stoped eating
got dehirated and weak and died.we have been rushing ferrets to the vets
with in a day or so apart with the same symptoms, as of this morn i lost
one of my personal ferrets to the rainbow bridge along with 5 already
passed befor Ollie, Ive had several hospitalized along with htier
medacations but 2 of them got to come back home yesterday, The Drs has
been suspecion on e.c.e or coccidia the last couple days til this morn
and we now belive it is for sure Coccidia, all ferrets are now on
Albon,amoxie,and pepto..  with over 10 ferrets hospitalized with 2
comming home and 6 died this last week our vet bill has ran high were
now over $1400.
 
Please if you can help in anyways even if its just a few dollors it
would help so much.  you can make your checks or money orders out to
the vets pratice and mail them to me or you can send them stright to
