any of your ferrets ever have what i can describe as "phantom chewing?"
She's NOT pawing at her mouth, and she's not grinding her teeth- she
looks sort of like she's lip syncing to something.  She's got a wicked
case of ECE, she was in the hospital for almost a week last week, and
she's not eating solid food.  she was on amoxicillin and flagyl, but
now that's been switched to biaxin because she wasn't responding.  this
"phantom chewing" happened a few minutes after we ate a little- she
also held her head underwater for a few seconds between phantom chews.
