First off, you shouldn't have to use three mg tablets. They do come in
1 mg. Not quite as easy to find, but I live in the middle of nowhere on
the reservation and my local Walgreens carries them. Natrol makes them,
as does Nature's Bounty, I blieve. About once a month or so, they go on
sale for two for one. I think someone told me CVS also has them. So
much easier. I used to use liquid melatonin which I bought off Ebay.
The only other places I've seen them are those big health food
supermarkets. I can't remember who makes it--two companies. One is
something like sunrise? sundown? something like that. They're quite
a bit more expensive than the tablets and usually formulated with some
glycerin and flavoring, if I remember correctly. So they're kinda sweet,
which might be a problem if your guys have insulinoma issues. But try
ebay (search liquid melatonin) or a big health food store. Or just get
1 mg tablets.
