The risks of ozone in the home has come up before, and this article
points to some new research which emphasizes yet again that ionic air
"cleaners" pose hazards.  Ferrets take quite a few more respirations
per minute than we do, so the exposure could potentially be even worse
for them.

Anyone who has asked a pulmonologist or an allergist already avoids these
dangerous money sinks which really provide only help with odors.
