This was in an online post I received. It says that the ferrets like
frest fruit and veggies! Could a local help these people with the
truth? Thanks.

Tommy and Angel are 2-year-old brown-and-white ferrets who must be
adopted together. Angel is a female.

The two are intrigued with paper bags, dryer tunnels and cardboard boxes.
They need at least two hours outside their cage daily. You may hear them
"cluck" when they play because they are happy.

Tommy and Angel must feel comfortable and secure. They need a wire cage
with a bottom covered with blankets, carpeting or linoleum or vinyl
flooring to protect their feet. Ferrets have flexible spines, so Tommy
and Angel curl up in a hammock or a hanging sleep sack when they snooze.

The ferrets like fresh fruits and veggies. A drinking tube or solid bowl
is the most practical way to provide water. Tommy and Angel have not
lived with dogs or cats but would do well with kids (age 6 and older) who
handle them gently. They need regular ear cleaning and nail clipping.

The two will be available at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Arizona Humane
Society's Campus for Compassion, 1521 W. Dobbins Road, Phoenix. The
total fee is $45.

Update: Mia, the female shorthair feline featured last Saturday, was
adopted by a Phoenix woman.
