We don't have any ferrets who are allergic to pine so we use pine pellets
mixed with Hunt Club for small animals, and if the Hunt Club batch is
low in the zeolite, Clinoptilite, we add Ammo-Cat. Clinoptilite is used
in water purification, in some foods, and more, and in testing so far
appears to be incredibly safe stuff. If also neutralizes ammonia like
nothing else we have ever encountered, reduces fecal smell greatly, and
it reduces mold growth. Steve is very allergic to some molds so this is
lot better than changing litter pots twice a day and treating the litter
boxes themselves that often during the worst mold seasons.
