Hi, Melody,....I AGREE with everything you said! (surprise!!-lol),...
but, in my 12+ ferts, since 1988, the marshall ferts seemed to get the
'usual' ferret illnesses sooner...don't you think so? I have 5 right
now, ages 7, 7, 6, 1, & 1. Only one DEW is a marshalls at 7yrs,
adrenal, but not till he was 4,...but my other, earlier ones from
marshalls did develop "cancers" at early ages. I think it IS from the
early neutering/spaying they do, plus the de-scenting. In my opinion,
1yr old neuter/spay is best, and descenting is wrong, as you said.
"Lukey", the 7yr old Marsh.'s is still holding his own, and with hair!!
So I do think you are correct. Some of their 'practices' though are
questionable.
