I am very surprised that place puts down the ferrets.  There are other
programs which adopt them out.
 
Ferrets are used to teach intubation of premature human infants.  It is
important training, but why the heck they are then destroying the ferrets
instead of arranging something more humane is beyond me.  It is cruel and
unnecessary and to me seems to be the antithesis of their goals as life
savers.
