My volunteer lost her first ferret, Lucy Rose. This was a terrible blow
because Lucy Rose was only a year old and passed away in her sleep last
night. She looked very peaceful in her hammock. Lucy Rose really had
not been sick and was fine when she went to bed last night. I am
thinking she must have had an enlarged heart or something in her head.
My volunteer is just devastated that her beautiful little sable girl left
alone without her mommy with her. Her mommie wants her to know how much
she loves her, will miss her and wishes she had known something was
wrong. Please greet little Lucy Rose at Rainbow Bridge (maybe you can
get some FerretFirst Alumni too) so I can forward it to her and hopefully
help her feel better.
Thank you very much.
Robin, FerretsFirst Rescue and Placement.
