Rascal had his surgery to de bulk a right adrenal tumor and removal of 3
cysts from his pancreas.  Pre-op he had E. Coli in his urine.  This was
a catheter specimen.  He was treated with 14 days Amoxil.  At surgery,
another catheter specimen showed E. Coli again.  Treated 14 days of
Keflex.  Repeat urine STILL growing E. Coli which should be sensitive to
all the antibiotics.  Treated 21 days of Amoxil, Still showing infection.
Now starting on Baytril.  Anyone have any ideas?  The tumor was malnigant
and he is on Lupon monthly.
