...Purchase a brand new litter box (any size will do) and a brand new
pooper scooper. Bake a cake identical in size to the litter box (or
just slightly larger). Trim off the extra so it will fit inside the box.
Depending on the depth of your box, you could make it a layer cake. Next
is the creative part. The icing of the cake should somewhat resemble
litter. I would suggest a white/tan icing and use coconut, or sprinkles,
or crumbled cookies, or even pudding. Be creative. Next is the gross
part. Heat 3 Tootsie rolls at a time in the microwave till they are a
bit soft and shapeable. Shape 'em into poops! The more the better!
You all know what a nice poop looks like! LOL! Serve with a brand new
scooper. There are many variations on making a litter box cake. Some
people like to mix the baked cake with pudding and then sprinkle crumbled
cookies on top...

Now for the cake for the Fuzzies:
Cover 1 cup of your ferret's favorite kibble in water and allow it to
soak until water is absorbed and kibble is soft(overnight in the fridge
is simplest). Stir 1 tablespoon of ferretone into the kibble with a
fork, blending the kibbles together. Use ferretone to oil hands and
fingers then press the mixture into two patties (cake layers).
Now make the 'icing'. You can use your ferret's favorite treats crumbled
and mixed together. Put a layer of icing on the cake layer on one layer,
then stack the second layer on top. Put more icing on top. Microwave
for 30 seconds or so and serve warm. Another icing alternative is
Ferretvite... apply after warming. One 'cake' serves 6 to 8 ferrets.
(Don't be surprised if your fuzzies do a lot of sniffing, but little
eating, this is a 'new' food and they might be dubious about it's
edibility.)
Party favors for guests:
Toddler sized sock filled plastic shopping bags (staple top of sock to
seal)
Toddler sized sock filled with starch shipping peanuts
Snack ziplock bags of treats
Party favors for human guests:
Same as above, lol.
