For someone who was born and lived her life in London, Ontario, this
might seem a strangwas on
both pred and luopron. she lived almost another year before it wore
her down she passed away at 8 years of age. up in till the end she lived
a happy and loved life. untill the end she was able to get around well. [...]39_23Feb200605:45:[log in to unmask] 0602 20338 21 15_adrenal surgery15_Kimberly [log in to unmask], 23 Feb 2006 15:09:50 -0600533_- Greetings all
Please say a little prayer for my littlest shelter baby Charity. She
will be having adrenal surgery next week. Some of you may recall that
over a year ago she lost her fur on her tail and right above it. I was
convinced she was adrenal and took her over 200 miles to a specialist
who did blood work and a panel and said she just had a bald tail. Then
on advice from Sukie I took her to our regular vet for an ultrasound.
All these tests came back fine, but today I noticed the tell tale

on Tuesday....wed morning he seemed a little sluggish, wed evening when
we opened the cage he could not get out...he is usually the first one
out...when I took him out he was very hot and had peed on himself. I
wrapped him in a cool towel and offered him food & water and after about
an hour he would move round...but he still looked really bad...took him
to the vet and he had a fever of 103. I left him there and they were

http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&C=10&A=1544&S=0

One form is genetic, and another is acquired autoimmune according to this
veterinary source. (Though I did find elsewhere that among humans some
cases of Myasthenia gravis, some cases of MS, and some other things now
are known to also sometimes trace to certain zoonotic viruses like Simian
Foamy Virus, so there can be other causes.) [...]42_23Feb200615:56:[log in to unmask] 0602 20475 22 16_Hope for [log in to unmask], 23 Feb 2006 20:49:06 -0800404_- Mama Mary has a cuddler. This precious boy's name is Beasley. Every

Hello,

This is in reference to the anonymous poster who wrote that her
ferret had adrenal and insulinoma. My Baby girl (now 6) also has the
Adrenal/Insulinoma combo and has had both together for about 3 months
now. She was diagnosed with insulinoma about a year ago and the Adrenal
is recent. She is on Pred for the insulinoma and she just started
recieving Melatonin implants every 5 months or so for the Adrenal. She
is doing well, and the treatments are not very expensive and they are a
great alternative to surgery for Baby. If you have any questions please
feel fre to contact me directly.
