My ferrets have come from private breeders and a couple of different
shelters.  No ferret is absolutely better than another.  If I buy from a
private breeder it may have been for color.  If I kept a foster ferret it
is because I invested so much time in it I couldn't bear to part with it.
We are currently at 15 ferrets, 5 above the number my husband would like
to have.
