the beginning, 'BIG' summed it up right below that post of yours....
That`s all there was to it!  .....
 
My ferts used to like 8in1 banana-raisin treats when they were the OLD
formula, therefore, I do not buy them any more.  "Ferretone",
"Ferretvite", (daily given to my ferts), has ALWAYS been fine in quality,
palatability, and overall 'condition of product'.  I did buy 1 pkg.  of
their 'Ferretbites' about 2 weeks ago, and about 3 pieces did have mold
on them...all dumped.  I wrote to 8in1 about it, they offered to send
another box, but I said no thanks,..they do not like them...So they
offered something they DO like, a free bottle of 'ferretone' in it`s
place.  Very nice, but does not address the 'Quality' problem in their
treats.
 
So, if we can "brush off" "Petsmart`s" beginning to sell 'Kits', and just
let the "Ferret Store" keep selling unhealthy treats+, ....then what the
heck, just BUY AROUND the "known" bad treats!..and then close your eyes
to these messes, just like everyone else, and maybe they`ll just go
away!(fat chance!)... good luck....
