My Lany (RIP) was a Petersen ("e", not "o") Farms ferret.  She was a
little panda girl, and deaf.  I got her in 1994.  Lany lived until she
was nearly 9 y.o.  She was very healthy until into her 7th year and then
was diagnosed with insulinoma.  She was very sweet and I never had a
biting problem with her.  She was my first deaf ferret so I had to make
some adjustments for that, but otherwise, she was a normal, healthy
ferret.  I didn't have any behavioral problems with her.
 
I've never found a website for them but they have been around for many
years.  I believe I did talk to them on the phone a time or two.
