Hi all.  Just wanted to post a quick update on Kahlua.  She's made it
through surgery and is doing very well so far.  Kelly took out both
adrenals and a small nodule on the pancreas.  She's upstairs resting in
her one floor cage right now.  She's pretty alert, she's been watching
what's all going on, people walking past her cage, the dog and cats
walking past, etc.  She's been drinking and only eating a small bit.  I'm
going to be sleeping on the couch next to her cage and I might set the
alarm for early in the morning (2am) to wake up to try to feed her some
more again, or if I wake up and she's peacefully sleeping, I may just
wait until REAL morning, like 8-9am.
 
Other than that, everything's alright.  I was really worried, what with
the way Anakin went and all...Still no word from Ellen on that yet.
Though I did speak with them today, got Kahlua's re-check in 25 days
scheduled already.  Rest assured though, if anything looks odd, we'll be
in before then.
 
Keep us in your thoughts, we still have a little ways to go.
