I've been reading the fml over the last couple of days, and of course I
have had my own opinions on what has been being discussed. I have held
back from posting anything -- because of "politics" -- which is actually
kind of sad.

When it comes down to it... we all have our own opinions on shelters
breeding, on what makes a "real" shelter, and what doesn't, asking for
donations, selling on ebay and the list could go on and on. The chances
of us talking a shelter that breeds out of breeding are slim to none --
just as it's slim to none that we are going to convince those against it
why it is beneficial.

We need to remember that we are here for one common cause -- the ferrets.
We aren't helping anything if all we are doing is fighting with each
other.

If you disagree with the way a shelter operates, donate to a different
one... there are plenty of us out there. If you are worried about the
way someone spends their donations, again, donate to another group.

We are never all going to agree on what is right or wrong -- but we all
agree that the ferrets need us. There are plenty of things that go on in
the ferret community that I don't necessarily agree with, but I do know
that the ferrets are being well taken care of, even if I don't like a
certain "policy"... and that, after all..... is what is most important.
