I have listed a huge lot of ferret books on Ebay.  Two of them are
current Veterinary texts.  If any of you are interested, please have a

Biology and Diseases of the Ferret.  Second Edition by Dr. James Fox.
This is a medical text for veterinarians.  Hardback.  In excellent
condition.  It is over 500 pages of information.  Very technical and
amply illustrated.  Considered the premier text on treating ferrets
medical problems.
 
Ferrets, Health, Husbandry, and Diseases.  By Maggie Lloyd.  Published by
Blackwell Science.  This is a UK orientated text on the treatment of
diseases for veterinarians.  198 pages packed with information.
 
A Practical Guide to Ferret Care.  By Deborah Jeans.  This is an out of
print and very hard to find book on ferrets.  In excellent condition.
Softback, 175 pages.
 
Time For Ferrets.  By Lilo Hess.  This is an out of print hardback,
former library book in good condition.  48 pages and lots of photographs.
 
Ferret Facts and Fancies.  By A. R. Harding.  This is a vintage softcover
book in great condition.  It almost looks like a reprint, it is in such
good shape.  (Perhaps it is a reprint?  Hard to believe it is 75+ years
old).  Full of historical information about the ferret, hunting with
them, raising them for fur (fitch), etc.
 
Ferrets, a Complete Owners Manual by Barrons.  Second Edition Revised
by Lynn (Fox) and Chuck Morton.  Softcover.  Everything about purchase,
care, nutrition, diseases, berhavior, and breeding with 41 color
photographs.
 
The Wit and Wisdom of the Modern Ferrets.  Softcover book by the
Sheffermans, the publishers of Modern Ferret magazine.  This is an easy
to read book with care and informative tips on the care of ferrets.  155
pages.
 
An Owners Guide to the Ferret.  Hardcover book published by Howell books
and written by Mary Shefferman.
 
Complete Guide to Ferrets.  By James McKay.  Softcover.  This is a
perspective on using ferrets as working animals.  Lots of photographs
and information on hunting with ferrets.
 
Ferrets.  By Wendy Winsted.  Hardback.  Illustrated with 93 full cover
photos and drawings, presents sensible, easy to follow recommendations
on selecting and caring for ferrets.
 
Ferrets and Ferreting.  By Graham Wellstead.  Hardback.  A very detailed
look at hunting with ferrets.
 
Guide to Owning a Ferret.  By Mary Field, Executive Director of the
Ferret Fanciers Club.  Softcover.  Covers housing, grooming, training,
temperament, health, breeding.  Illustrated with gorgeous glossy photos.
 
Step by Step Book About Ferrets.  By Jay and Mary Field.  Paperback.
 
Ferrets for Dummies.  By Kim Schilling.  This large paperback book is
considered he MUST HAVE book on the care of ferrets.  It is extremely
detailed on every aspect of ferret care.  If you have ferrets, you
should have this book.  In very good condition.  370 pages.
