When our employer/landlord wanted an excuse to get rid of us, he decided
that our ferrets were actually skunks 9_9; I don't even think we /have/
skunks in this country... and even if we did, geez.
 
Most of the other rumours I've heard are the usual ones about how if you
feed them meat they become vicious killers, attack children, et cetera.
We've been happily able to put those to bed with our sweet-natured little
carnivores at least.
