hey all... a long time lurker's first time asking about something...

I have a wonderful little guy named Binx, he's about a year old and
sable. He joyously bounces around my apartment and my boyfriends house,
all our friends love him, he has all his shots (he's even a favorite at
the vet's office cause he behaves himself in public and for whatever
reason doesnt have much of that classic "ferrety smell"), he loves walks
on lead in the woods and generally makes himself at home wherever he is.

Here's the problem, he's lonely.

Binx needs a buddy, or buddette. After all the pleas for help in placing
ferrets no one can take, and ones others just dont want, you would think
that I could practically flag one down on the road, but I havent been
able to get anyone to return my calls or even my e-mails.

What am I doing wrong? Has anyone had this problem? What should I
say in messages to get a return on them? Is there a ferret drought
in Richmond, VA that I havent heard of? Please give me something to
go on...

Thanks!
Katy, Johnathon and Binx
