I think MANY of the reasdership are fiorgetting the BIG DIFFERENCE
between sheltering ADN bREED RESCUE Operations.

Point blank - a shelter IS a sheltrer - anyu intact aninmals are
neutered / spayed befpre adopption.

They do not allow the future problem of homeless animals to continue.

In the case of breed rescues- they usually do not take the same approach.
They may spay / neuter turned in animals but they breed ... siting any
number of reasons--

HOWEVER there is a BIG DIFFERENCE between a "humane shelter" and a "breed
rescue" operation.

Yes it is admirable some breeders take on the responsibility of rescue
work-- NOt all do!

I think that some of us ought to fess up that there is a difference
between the two. When you purposefully breed an animal , you do
potentially burden a rescue system because you do not have control over
the outcome of the animals you produce. Some MAY, in-advertant of your
intentions spew forth generations of discarded lineage. That IS the
reality.

Lets be part of the solution and resolution and not continue to be the
problems! We ALL need to work together the in fighting will only lead
continued lack of recofgnition by the humane sector at large to the
ferret community. and Whether you agree or not WE NEED the assistance
of big organizations to deal with puet shop surplus sales.

That is My two cents!
