Ferret lovers!
 
Don't dare miss out on the Fall Ferret Festival, being held in
Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday, October 1st.  To date, 177 ferrets have been
entered for competition in this American Ferret Association sanctioned
Championship Ferret Show.  4 Championship Classes*, 16 Specialty Classes
and 2 Premier Classes are available for your ferrets to compete in.  All
ferrets MUST bring written proof of current distemper (fervac or purevax
only) and rabies (imrab only) received between 10/2/04 and 9/23/05, along
with a negative ADV test dated between 2/1/05 and 9/30/05.
 
Entry space is available in most rings and will be accepted up to show
time if space permits, however most of the championship classes have
filled & closed.  Enter your ferrets by contacting the show registrar,
Chris Sayne at trferretcouncil @ att.net (no spaces in the address).  The
TRFC accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Checks and PayPal.  We are also
a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
 
Many vendors will be in attendance for you to buy great stuff for your
fuzzies and get a head start on your Holiday shopping list.... We have
received an awesome collection of goodies to raffle off as well, if you
can't buy what you want, try winning something in the raffles!
 
Admission is free for those exhibiting (showing) their ferrets.  General
admission for the public is $6.00 for non-member adults/$5.00 for adult
members of the TRFC, $4.00 for non-member children (7 & up)/$3.00 for
members and children under 7 free.  The Mt.  Washington Community Center
is located on Sweetbriar Street, off of Grandview Avenue.  For more
