Carol has asked me to write on her behalf and ask for help.  She knows
this is not a great time with what is happening in Louisiana.  However,
Carol is now SWAMPED with Ferrets.  Carol is the only one in Tucson able
to help Furkids right now.  She has basically taken over the shelter in
Tucson.  She has about 32 Ferrets right now and has nine on the waiting
list.  Not Good.  She is asking shelters for HELP.  If you can take any
Ferrets (Joanne from Sierra Vista already is already taking three---
Thanks Joanne) please contact Carol.  We can figure out a way to get
ferrets to Shelters and qualifying homes.  This is unusual for Tucson
because we are a college town and normally don't get this many rescues
till college dorms empty and at this point college kids are just coming
in.  Carol has young and older Furkids that need forever homes ASAP.
 
Or, if you can give a gift certificate for a Pet Store or to the Ferret
Store please let Carol know.
 
For those of you who don't know Ginny Childs who normally runs the
shelter is still the President but is no longer taking Ferrets and only
allowed to keep a few personal ferrets.  Ginny is still involved but not
feeling well (she just got out of a seven week hospital stay)  Carol is
basically running the club and shelter.  If you can help in ANYWAY
please contact Carol.
