Heads up people. On most of the main arteries coming into California
there are Agricultural Stations where they stop card and trucks and check
for illegal contraband. ie; fruits, vegetables , ferrets, etc. If they
catch you coming into the state with a ferret they will confiscate your
ferret. Rescue is then called to transport the ferret back out of state.

For over the last year, the stations for been closed due to cutbacks.
Recently they have opened a few to do test runs. Rescue has been called
3 times in the last two months. So please, please be careful when
bringing a ferret into California.

There are alternative routes that you can find on the Ferrets Anonymous
website. www.ferretsanonymous.com.

Thanks,
Robin
